History

Kim Tarvin first opened Tarvin Auto Service in Batavia, OH in 1988. Kim continues to run the auto repair shop, and is committed to providing quality automotive repairs and excellent customer service!

Tarvin Auto Service’s original location, located just a few miles down the road from the current building, was built by Kim and his family to serve not only as his own business, but as a home for himself, his wife, and their expected son.

From 1988 until 2004, Tarvin Auto Service operated from a simple three-bay garage that employed Kim and three other technicians.

Then in 2004, Tarvin Auto Service made plans to expand to a much larger facility located next to the Batavia School District bus garage in order to accommodate an increasing number of customers and to provide the next level in excellent customer service and care. The new location opened in June 2004 and has brought an increase in staff and services offered.

Since the move, Tarvin Auto Service has been able to further its development by pursuing the latest in automotive service technologies. The company now offers competitive pricing on tire sales and auto repairs thanks to a network of services available through our databasing systems.

The automotive industry has changed a lot throughout the years since Tarvin Auto Service first opened, but the commitment to quality auto repair and customer care that each of the Tarvin team members have has not.
